STOP PARKER FOR CLARK COUNTY CLERK
Wilson for Clerk | Sherry's Parkers Illegal Signs | Photo Page | Guestbook Page | Sherry Parker's information | Facts behind the City of Vancouver Position on Ms. Parker's Signs | Hard Earned Union Dues at Work! | Clark County Conservative | Local Event Calendar | BREAKING NEWS ON UNION MONEY | Realblog

Ms. Parker continues denying that her signs are illegal.  Below is the response that we received back from Curtis D. Knopp with the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Thank you for your email about this sign issue.  We will contact Ms. Parker and inform her that her political signs do not meet state regulations.  Due to the short duration until the end of the election, we will notify her that the signs will need to be removed after the election and can't be reused in any future elections.
Again thank you for taking the time to share this concern.  If you have any further questions or concerns please contact me.

This is what Sherry is saying but the County removed all of her signs on 162nd Ave that were illegal.

Clark County Voters:

You may have heard rumors stating that my campaign signs are illegal. I hope you will take the time to read the letter from the Vancouver City Attorney’s office which states that this is not the truth.

Our campaign has not been notified by any official agency that there is any reason to take them down.

The People Respond - The Reflector

I have been an employee of the Clark County Clerk’s Office for 14 years. I know both candidates running to replace the retiring clerk, Jo Anne McBride.
Sherry Parker is running on the Democratic ticket and Baine Wilson is running on the Republican ticket. Although this is a partisan position, the voters of Clark County shouldn’t view it as taking sides. This position should be decided by who has the most experience for the job.
While both candidates are employees of the office, I only know of Sherry’s legal experience as a courtroom clerk. Whatever management experience Sherry possesses has not been with the clerk’s office.
I am supporting Baine Wilson because I have seen how she took the clerk’s collection program with a meager budget from ground zero to a highly successful program benefiting county government, the courts, and the thousands of citizens owed money due to a crime. Baine’s education in Society and Justice, her management skills, and government budgeting experience give her the needed experience to do the job.
